What's Up Tiger Mommy?
My Thoughts On The Episode:
Something tells me that they are going to make the focus of this season on closing the gates of hell and ridding the world of everything demonic. After being on the quest for the tablet, Kevin insist on checking up on his mom. After arriving, the boys and Kevin soon discover that Kevin's mom is being watched by Crowley's minions. I realized that I like the character Kevin's mom brought to the episode, she had alot of courage toward the demons for her son. Which leads me to believe that is why they tited this episode, "What's Up Tiger Mommy?".
Dean shows us his scary PSTD side from Purgatory when him and Sam are interrogating the man who sold the tablet of god, after slamming him against the wall with a noose and the demon knife against his throat. Not the usual way an FBI agent would interrogate someone, but during the scene we see flashbacks of Dean and Benny asking a monster questions regarding the whereabouts of Castiel. I am still asking the same question as last time.
What the heck happened to Castiel?!
Then later you see Dean having another Purgatory flashback where him and Benny find Castiel at the edge of a creek. Dean is enlightened to find Castiel but Castiel admits that he ran from Dean because Castiel himself is being hunted by the Leviathans that remain in Purgatory. Castiel wanted to save Dean, therefore he led the Leviathans away from Dean. Dean tells Castiel that Benny know's how to get them out of Purgatory and that he wasnt leaving without Castiel. Hesitant, Castiel agrees.
My favorite part of this episode is when they find out that the tablet of god has been sold to an auction where the God of Greed presides and one of his workers has invited Kevin and the boys. However Sam realizes that they have nothing to pay for the tablet with if they try to bid at the auction. He turns to Dean's baby, and the look on Dean's face was hilarious. His response, "Don't even say it. I will kill you, your children and your grandchildren!" was awesome!
At the auction we see Mrs. Tran's tiger mommy insincts kick in when she meets Crowley at the auction, while the boys are itching to kill him, Mrs. Tran smacks the King of Hell right across the face. I laughed. Of course, I'm always laughing with Crowley's whitty humor against the boys. Regardless of my liking for Crowley, I always root for my boys, and if that means bringing down Crowley, then whats gotta be done is gonna get done. Mrs. Tran bids her soul for Kevin and the tablet, when she arrives to submit her soul to the God of Greed, it's revealed that Crowley has possessed her. Which results in Mrs. Tran possessed as Crowley running away with the tablet and Dean chasing after her, almost killing her with the demon knife to the neck until Crowley releases her and rides back to his previous meatsuit. And escaping with the tablet.
Kevin really takes to heart what Crowley says about the boys using up people and then killing them, so he takes off with his mom while the boys are talking. Which is a stupid move on his part because the boys are protecting him from Crowley.
The end scene cuts to Castiel reaching out for Dean in Purgatory, screaming for help. I am so puzzled about Castiel and what happened to him, they can't keep this up for much longer. We want answers!
